Join the Race to Read the Bible in a year! The Bible Way (adult and youth) will coordinate teams for the Amazing Race. The teams will read daily assigned scriptures and RACE to finish reading the Bible! Teams will also look for the monthly clues to be found in their reading and receive encouragement along the way. The Purpose:

•Accomplish our mission statement: “To know Christ and make Him known”.

•Education- Reading the bible helps us know and grow in God’s word

•Worship- Reading the bible gives us clarity and direction to help us worship God

•Evangelism- Reading the bible helps us to know and use God’s word to lead others to Christ

•Fellowship- Reading the bible together encourages fellowship and builds unity within the church

Bible Way Community Baptist Church

Read through the Bible in one Year. There are two one-year biblereading plans to choose from. Select the plan that works best for your reading interest or style.

(1) Read fromBeginning to End (Genesis-Revelations) or

(2) Read both Old and New Testament scriptures each day.

How to run the race:

•Join or establish a team of no more than 10 members.

•Teams do not have to literally meet to read together, but encourage and hold each other accountable for reading the daily scriptures. (Per your reading plan).

•There are two different reading plans: (1) From Beginning to End or (2) Old and New Testaments. Chose the plan that works best for you.

•Read! The objective is NOT to study in detail, but to read…read…read… Highlight, circle and make notes…. But KEEP READING!

•Teams can read ahead!

•Encourage your team by sharing stories and testimonies along the way.

Establish the Team:

•Establish a Team of no more than 10 members.

•Chose a Team name and captain, register the team, and pick up the reading schedule.

•The Team Captain will keep the team informed and organized through-out the year with updates, announcements and etc.

Team Meetings/ Clues

•Each first Wednesday of the month, each team will meet to pray, share testimonies and answer the monthly clues/questions that Pastor will provide on that night.
